Recipe Brownie-Baked Apple Tiramisu low-carb gluten-free

A Winter Baked-Apple Tiramisu with a delicious chocolaty base. Goes very well with the coffee and is also the perfect match for your Christmas menu! Of course low-carb and gluten-free.

For the brownie batter

  • 200 g Dr. Almond Brownie Magic
  • 6 eggs medium ((or 5 eggs large))
  • 200 g full cream milk
  • 50 g butter (melted)
  • square cake frame or baking dish with approx. 20 x 25cm

For the baked apple sauce

  • 300 g apples (peeled and diced)
  • 50 g Dr. Almond Caramel Dream
  • 1 tsp Dr. Almond Premium Spices CHRISTMAS DREAM
  • 50 ml Berentzen Apple (or other applejack – optional apple juice)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

For the crème

  • 250 g low fat curd cheese
  • 500 g mascarpone cheese
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 10 g Dr. Almond Low Carb Sweetener Cristalline

For dipping

  • some Berentzen Apple (Optional apple juice or other liquid as you like)

For garnishing

  • 100 g Dr. Almond Chocolate Magic DARK CHOCOLATE (milk chocolate or black cream)
  • 50 g Dr. Almond Hazelnuts Premium Selection Roasted & Blanched
  1. Preheat oven to 185° C.
  2. Place the square cake frame on a baking tray covered with baking paper or line a baking dish with baking paper.
  3. Mix all ingredients for the brownie batter in a bowl and make a smooth dough. Important: the melted butter should only be lukewarm when adding! Pour the dough in the mould.
  4. Bake for approx. 25 – 30 mins (fan). Bake 5 – 10 mins longer if you use upper and lower heat. Allow the base to cool on a wire rack.
  5. For the baked apple sauce, melt the caramel dream in a saucepan. Add the Berentzen apple schnapps, Christmas dream, lemon juice and apple slices and cook at medium heat until soft. Allow to cool down.
  6. For the crème, mix low fat curd cheese, mascarpone and low-carb sweetener. Fold in the whipped cream.
  7. Place the cooled base as a whole into an appropriate mould or in a frame. Wet with the desired liquid.
  8. Spread baked apple sauce and crème.
  9. For garnishing, spread melted chocolate magic and chopped nuts on top. I mixed two tastes of chocolate magic for this recipe: “milk chocolate“ and ”black cream“ – looks super pretty and is super delicious!
  10. Chill the tiramisu in the fridge and let soak.
  11. Please note: Nutrition facts are WITHOUT garnish. Just be creative – of course, you could simply dust with cocoa.
