65 % finest coconut butter from 100 % fresh and ripe coconut pulp: with a gentle coconut flavour, the coconut butter provides a creamy texture and wonderful mouthfeel.
Butterfat – the mild sister of ghee and butter oil: In contrast to ghee and butter oil, which are obtained by separating water and protein components from butter, butterfat (also named concentrated butter) is directly produced from milk and has only a very moderate buttery taste. The typical buttery flavours emerge from the manufacture of butter, and that is why we love our ghee so much. However, the coconut flavour should come to the fore in our Nuketo spread – for this reason, pure butterfat is the better option. Apart from the taste, butterfat and ghee are identical in both composition and consistency.
And what else does it contain? The composition of nut butter and high-quality oils is rounded off by finest premium cream powder, genuine bourbon vanilla and our popular calorie-free and carbohydrate-free low-carb sweetener powder.
Storage and consistency
The ideal storage temperature to get a perfect consistency for spreading is within 15 – 21° C!
Nuketo becomes quite firm in the fridge but can be easily spooned up.
Important note for the summer months: If the room temperature in your flat climbs above 23° C in summer, the Nuketo spread becomes softer and softer until it is almost completely liquid above 25°C. Those of you who keep a jar of coconut oil at home are very well aware of this effect. Nuketo can easily melt and become firm again without compromising the product quality. After a longer period of storage in liquid form we recommend to stir the content thoroughly before consuming and to let the product solidify in the fridge. For a good spreadability during the summer months, you can store the opened jar in the fridge and remove it shortly before enjoying – the outer coats of the spread get soft fastest so that you can spread the product easily already after a few minutes.
Nuketo as frosting and soft icing for cakes If you wish to use the product for frostings and icings, we recommend to let the cake completely cool down, but it should still have room temperature (15 – 21° C). This way, Nuketo spreads easily. Then store in a cool place.
Nuketo as ice cream topping Pour liquid Nuketo over a scoop of low carb ice cream and it will get firm within seconds – enjoy a heavenly crunchy nougat topping! Our tip for the summer months: Keep one jar of Nuketo in the fridge for spreading (see details above) and store one jar at now warmer “room temperature“ – this way you’ll always have liquid Nuketo at hand for ice cream toppings.
Nuketo as chocolate filling Nuketo is perfectly suitable to create fillings for homemade low-carb chocolates! Please note that such candies are not suitable for longer storage periods at room temperature, because the coconut oil may soften the cocoa butter in the chocolate crumb over time. Therefore we recommend to store them in the fridge.
Ingredients: 65% coconut butter, butterfat, cream powder, erythritol, bourbon vanilla, sweeteners sodium cyclamate and sodium saccharin. May contain traces of other nuts.
Nut oil may separate on the surface of the Nuketo product, which can easily be stirred in before using. This is a natural process and affects neither quality nor durability.
