Prepared with water, 1 portion (125 g) of dessert has just 70 kcal and 0.7 g of usable carbohydrates – but instead a proud 10.4 g of protein and 3.3 g of fibre!
But also prepared with milk (1.5%) the nutritional values are impressive: Only 118 kcal – and a whole 13.8 g protein!
The combination of 3 high-quality proteins (egg protein, milk protein and collagen hydrolysate) is refined with cream powder and bourbon vanilla and optimized with low-carbohydrate binding agents for the perfect mouth feel and maximum versatility.
INGREDIENTS: 46 % Protein blend (milk protein, free-range egg white powder, bovine collagen hydrolysate), citrus fiber, erythritol, 11 % cream powder. Contains less than 2 %: thickeners locust bean gum and xanthan gum, bourbon vanilla, flavouring vanillin, natural flavouring (cream, caramel), apple extract (sugar-reduced), sweeteners sodium cyclamate and sodium saccharin, antioxidant ascorbic acid (Vitamin C).
PREPARATION FOR 2 PORTIONS (200 ml liquid + 50 g powder):
In a mixing bowl, mix 50 g dessert powder with 200 ml cold liquid (water, milk, vegetable milk or a mixture of cream + water 1:1) and purée vigorously with a hand-held blender for about 1 min.
Enjoy directly as a soft cream or chill for about 2 hours before serving for a firmer cream. Consume within 1 day.
TIPS FOR VARIATION:
For foamy, fluffy mousse: Do not puree the mixture of powder and liquid, but beat vigorously for approx. 3 minutes with the whisk of a hand mixer or food processor.
For delicious protein quark: Prepare the cream with only 150 ml liquid and then stir in 250 g quark.
Fruity refinement: the dessert can also be refined as desired with the various Dr. Almond fruit powders – simply stir in or sprinkle over it. When stirring in, if necessary add the amount of liquid according to

We first made it using half water, half milk and whisked it. We didn’t like it at all. I experimented a little bit and tried out a few versions and now we really like it. We like it most when using milk only and when pureeing it instead of whisking it. It tastes great with 1 tbsp hazelnut butter pureed into it. It is not as versatile as the Protein Dessert Vanilla. I am happy that I can eat a caramel dessert. I have not been able to make a good caramel low carb ice cream so far and really missed eating a caramel dessert.
