Citrus Fiber – the revolutionary new low carb & gluten free binder & thickener.
INGREDIENTS: 100 % citrus fiber from freshly extracted and deoiled citrus fruits
What citrus fiber can do:
• As a direct starch substitute for thickening of soups, sauces and cremes or for binding liquids in cooked vegetables
• For binding liquids and/or eggs in croquettes or burgers
• For making sweet or savoury sauces, roux, custards, gravy, cream sauces and many more
• As texturizer in salad dressings – the dressing will stick better to the salad without weighing it down
• For no carb recipes with egg
• … and many more!
For soups, sauces and cremes with citrus fiber, the perfect creamy texture developes only after blending: mix the citrus fiber with the liquid and blend everything shortly with a hand blender. No heating required: citrus fiber binds both hot and cold dishes!
Dosage: 5 g ≈ 2 TL TSP
Soups: 5 – 10 g per 1000 ml liquids
